The designer behind Dhini is Australian, Dhini Pararajasingham.

With a background in Marketing,  a BA in Fashion Design from the prestigious Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a "Most Promising Student Award" from  Alice Euphemia and having trained with eminent Australian bridal designer Marianna Hardwick, Dhini's expertise lies in tailoring and hand couture.

Dhini moved to London in 2004 to take up a position as Design Assistant with reputable London label, BOUDUCCA. Here she assisted the designers in producing their Autumn/Winter 2004/05 collection for London and Paris Fashion Week after which she launched her own signature label at London Fashion Week in February 2005.
