As a young woman growing up on the east coast of Australia Leisa Flannery always knew she would have a creative career. Her passion forjewellery grew when she would create necklaces from layering strands ofbrightly coloured gemstones and beads sourced from around the world. Causing quite a stir amongst the women of her hometown, Leisa knew she was onto a good thing.
Having worked amongst jewellery labels such as Pilgrim, Ayala Ba andVictoria Spring, Leisa landed a career working alongside one of Sydney'smost prestigious jewellery designers Jan Logan. There she developed andhoned her exceptional talent for jewellery design learning the ins and outsof the industry.
Knowing she had more to offer to the world of jewellery design Leisabased herself in Melbourne and being inspired by the exciting designatmosphere of the city launched her self-titled jewellery label.
Using semi-precious stones sourced worldwide set in sterling silver and 9carat gold, crafted with the finest tools and techniques Leisa's designs are elegantly classic with a fresh modern twist. Leisa's first collection inspired by the drama and romance of the films ‘Magambo (1953)', ‘Cleopatra (1963)', ‘Romancing the Stone (1984)' and‘The Jewel of the Nile (1985)' is a rich fusion of colour and contrastcreating a range of unique forms and designs that embodies romance andadventure. The collection consists of luxe handmade treasures of silverand gold met with pink and white agate, freshwater pearl, turquoise, aquamarine, pink coral and lapis lazuli across a range of necklaces,bracelets, cuffs, earrings and rings.
