The latest Australian fashion prodigy to arrive on the scene is young Melbourne hipster, Tali Roth. At only twenty-two, Roth who has had a passion for designing since she was twelve has created and launched her first collection, which is all about ‘the dress'. The Tali Roth line is predominantly, a dress only line, inspired by Roth's love of the sexy curves of a woman's body. The result is a line that plays up to this vision with formfitting shapes that mould and skim the body, creating both flattering pieces and shapes that highlight all the right places.
The Tali Roth aesthetic is all about easy dressing with a glamorous and very girlie edge. Dressing is fun again, with the latest collection taking a cue from the girl of all girls', Barbie. Electric pop colours are key, taking form in a range of shapes including flirty mini's in thick cotton jersey and more sophisticated silk backless and one shoulder pieces.
Not content with just designing which has been a life long passion, Tali, also has a major in psychology, which she combined with her fashion pedigree, when she went a volunteered last year in Tanzania for a month and opened an accessible clothes store for the locals called Kipepeo.
